SaidGig invites a remote, full-time researcher to advance AI-powered legal reasoning. You will design rigorous evaluation methods for legal AI agents and work with AI researchers to shape enterprise legal workflows.

Required are an advanced law degree, strong legal research skills, and proven ability to create structured evaluation methods. Equity compensation and performance bonuses may apply for this remote role.

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and improve evaluation frameworks for legal AI agents.
• Conduct applied research in legal reasoning and statutory interpretation.
• Develop datasets, case studies, and benchmark environments.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to improve legal models.
• Analyze model performance and failure modes across legal use cases.
• Document findings, best practices, and evaluation methodologies.
• Stay current on legal tech, jurisprudence, and regulatory environments.
• Help establish standards for legal AI evaluation and benchmarking.
