Job summary

Sasha Sidel Coaching is seeking a Lead Java Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of cloud‑based SaaS solutions for energy industry clients. This remote role requires occasional in‑person meetings in select US metro areas, and applicants must reside in the United States.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software development, strong Java and Spring Boot skills, and expertise in microservices, REST/SOAP, and data integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience building high‑performance, reliable, and scalable enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in the full software development life cycle of cloud‑based enterprise applications.
Design and develop cloud‑native applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP web services, API Gateways, and RDBMS.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for scale.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methodologies.
Stay current with evolving technologies and AI‑assisted development practices.
