Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to implement and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability. The role involves building the scanner, evaluation harness, and CI/CD pipelines, then transitioning to ongoing operations including patching and feature development.

This is a remote contract with a four-person rotating 24/7 schedule. You will work with AWS Bedrock, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, and ECS, delivering telemetry to Splunk and dashboards for

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on information security or software development experience.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock or equivalent hosted LLM platforms.
• Familiar with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub).
• Knowledge of SAST/SCA tooling and application security concepts.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability on AWS Bedrock.
• Build evaluation harness to measure scanner quality and report performance.
• Develop scanning pipelines integrated with GitHub and Jenkins, deployed to ECS via Terraform.
• Deliver telemetry to Splunk and build dashboards/alerts for health and throughput.
• Maintain architecture-aligned, well-architected security solutions and runbooks.
• Provide post-go-live patching, defect resolution, and on-call support.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift, averaging 40 hours/week.
• Document handoffs and maintain compliance with controls and regulatory requirements.
• Understand virtualization and containerization technologies.
