Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a security-focused engineer to implement and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection system on AWS Bedrock. You will build pipelines with GitHub and Jenkins, deploy to ECS via Terraform, and deliver operational telemetry to Splunk.

The role requires 2+ years in engineering or security software, familiarity with IaC, Jenkins/GitHub integrations, and knowledge of SAST/SCA tooling. This is a remote opportunity with a 24/7 support cadence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related engineering or security software development work.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock or equivalent hosted LLM platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform modules.
• CI/CD pipelines experience, preferably Jenkins integrated with GitHub.
• Familiarity with application security concepts and SAST/SCA tooling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate an LLM-based code vulnerability detection capability on AWS Bedrock, including prompts and model invocation.
• Build and maintain evaluation harness to measure scanner quality and report performance over time.
• Develop scanning pipelines integrated with GitHub and Jenkins, deployed to ECS and provisioned via Terraform.
• Deliver telemetry into Splunk and create dashboards and alerts for scanner health and throughput.
• Provide ongoing operational support, patching, and defect resolution after go-live.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
