This is a temporary, full-time position reporting to the Co-Directors of Litigation. The position entails fundraising, media engagement, and alignment with NCYL’s mission, with a salary range of $126,700–$142,000 annually.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active bar status in at least one state.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant impact litigation experience since law school, including leadership across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with complex motions and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of complex litigation from investigation to appeals.
• Oversee remedy implementation and settlement efforts.
• Supervise staff and co-counsel, coordinate with external partners.
• Represent NCYL in national conferences and media engagements.
