Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Services Environmental & Safety Manager to lead environmental compliance programs across the Independent Provider network. You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable team execution, train field staff, and guide corrective actions for safe, compliant projects.

The role requires deep technical credibility, prior people leadership, and the ability to influence cultural and operational change across stores, field leadership, and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong knowledge of EPA Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule.
• Ability to interpret environmental regulations and conduct audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Quality Support Specialists for environmental reviews and audits.
• Set priorities, expectations, workload, and accuracy standards.
• Provide senior guidance on EPA lead rules and related regulations.
• Advise on lead-based paint, asbestos, silica, mold, and other hazards.
• Oversee audits and document reviews for regulatory alignment.
• Analyze findings to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop corrective actions and sustainable process improvements.
• Update policies, procedures, and training as needed.
• Collaborate with Stores, Legal, Compliance, Safety, and Operations.
• Visit stores and job sites to coach and resolve issues.
• Communicate regulatory requirements clearly to diverse audiences.
• Share updates and emerging risks with leadership.
• Foster accountability and environmental stewardship across the business.
• Support conferences, regulatory meetings, and travel as needed.
