Job summary

Blattner Company in Avon, Minnesota, seeks a Lead Engineer – Studies to head electrical studies across bids and projects. You will set technical standards, establish study templates and QA/QC practices, and serve as primary study contact for owners and EOR teams.

You will coordinate with Project Engineering, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, and Construction to derisk bids and ensure buildable designs for renewables including wind, solar, energy storage, and data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college (or relevant equivalent experience).
• Seven+ years of electrical studies experience with proficiency in protection & planning, equipment sizing & rating, and EMC.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of electrical studies across bids and project work; establish study templates and QA/QC practices.
• Review and validate EOR study packages for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering, Estimating, Integrated Supply Chain, and Construction on equipment and material selection.
• Mentor staff and manage studies across a portfolio of concurrent projects.
