Intelerad, based in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Database Manager to design, build, and operate our database architecture across PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms. You will lead a high-performing team, set standards, and ensure scalable, secure, and highly available systems in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid deployments.

You will align database strategy with product roadmaps, drive reliability, and collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, and leadership to deliver critical healthcare data

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in database architecture, design, and administration.
• 2+ years directly managing or leading database engineers or architects.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) in large-scale environments.
• Proven experience with database security protocols and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with cloud database platforms and services on AWS, Azure, or GCP, incl. migrations and hybrid architectures.
• Ability to hire, coach, and communicate database strategy to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of database engineers and architects.
• Own the database architecture strategy and standards for PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms.
• Drive operational excellence and reliability for all production database systems.
• Establish and enforce database security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product leadership to align strategy with roadmaps and migrations.
