Job summary

Myriad360 seeks a hands-on Lead Data Center Technician / Working Foreman to support deployments in active data centers and critical environments. You will coordinate daily field activities, perform installation, cabling, labeling, and cabinet closeout, and travel extensively across the country.

Role requires 4+ years in data center / network infra, strong leadership, and the ability to read rack elevations and runbooks.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in data center, telecom, structured cabling, or network infrastructure installation.
• Experience leading technicians, helpers, subcontractors, or small field crews while staying hands-on.
• Ability to read rack elevations, port maps, cable schedules, drawings and field instructions.
• Knowledge of fiber cleaning, inspection, bend radius, and basic copper test concepts.
• Strong quality-control, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on rack-and-stack, equipment staging, server and switch installation, cable management, and cabinet closeout.
• Lead daily field activities for technicians, helpers, and subcontractors; assign work and monitor progress.
• Route, dress, label, connect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling per drawings and runbooks.
• Inspect workmanship for label accuracy, port correctness, bend radius, cleanliness, and test results; correct issues promptly.
• Capture serial numbers, asset tags, MAC addresses, photos, and completion records; maintain logs.
• Provide clear daily status updates: completed work, blockers, open items, risks, and next steps; escalate conflicts early.
• Model safe conduct in customer environments, use PPE, maintain security, and respect access requirements.
• Identify security risks and contribute to remediation with leadership; perform other duties as assigned.
