Job summary

ISG is seeking a Lead Research Analyst in Data and Analytics to own market-facing research across AI, data platforms, governance and DataOps. You’ll shape the research agenda and collaborate with product, marketing and client success teams to deliver timely, evidence-based insights.

The role requires deep knowledge of data analytics markets, executive advisory experience, and strong writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

Experience as an industry analyst or data analytics practitioner.
Deep knowledge of data and analytics markets and buyer requirements.
Ability to form independent, well-developed point of view.
Experience advising executives on data strategy and vendor evaluation.
Strong written, presentation and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Set and execute the research agenda for data and analytics markets, providers and buyer priorities.
Develop primary research, analyst perspectives, market perspectives and value indices.
Provide thought leadership on data and AI platforms, governance, DataOps, streaming and analytics.
Guide enterprise buyers in vendor and platform evaluation.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with software providers across teams.
Partner with peers and product, marketing, revenue and client success to maximize ISG Research value.
Support client inquiries, briefings, speaking engagements and advisory activities.
Manage research and client-delivery workflows to ensure high quality on schedule.
Participate in analyst leadership and team meetings to advance innovation and client satisfaction.
