Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a Content Licensing Supplier Strategy & Operations Lead. This strategic individual contributor will maximize external supplier partnerships for Content Licensing, lead operations, training, and technology enablement, and serve as SME for Permission System functionality and workflows.

The role partners with internal teams to meet evolving business needs and drives improvements in quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years in content licensing, supplier management, or related work.
• Experience leading operational initiatives with measurable impact.
• Ability to develop standards, training, and performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier partnership strategies aligned with licensing goals.
• Own supplier performance, establish standards, and govern scorecards and reviews.
• Design onboarding and training to improve supplier capability and scalability.
• Coach suppliers on licensing, compliance, and processes.
• Maintain workflow documentation, SOPs, and playbooks for suppliers.
• Act as SME for Permission System functionality and integration needs.
• Recommend solutions to improve productivity, quality, and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives impacting operations and tech.
• Provide thought leadership to licensing leaders and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand supplier capacity and future operating models.
