Job summary

interos.ai is hiring a Principal Computational Social Scientist to advance financial and economic modeling for global supply chains. You will drive model development across micro- and macro-use cases, applying quantitative social-science methods to networks, markets, and socio-economic trends.

You will lead collaborations with engineering and product teams, translate complex analyses into actionable insights for diverse audiences, and contribute to white papers and external presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5+ years of experience in quantitative social science or related field.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced cross-disciplinary environments, especially in startup/product-centric settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in quantitative modeling across social, organizational, or physical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement computational social-science models for integration into the interos.ai platform.
• Apply quantitative methods to understand network structures, supply chain dynamics, and financial risk.
• Lead multiple projects, communicating progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Translate models into scalable, product-ready implementations and documentation.
