Job summary

Meta in Menlo Park is seeking a senior quantitative social scientist to own research end-to-end, from design to impact. You will analyze large datasets, apply causal inference and econometrics, and communicate results to executives to shape decisions.

Candidates should have strong experience with Python/R/SQL, survey methodology, and AI-enabled workflows, plus a track record driving research with minimal guidance and influencing cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in quantitative research, survey methodology, or a related field.
• Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in the social sciences or a quantitative field.
• Design original research to address complex questions.
• Data manipulation and analysis using Python/R and SQL.
• Expertise in measurement and statistical inference (causal, Bayesian, ML).
• Experience driving research projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Ability to communicate analyses and results to executives and diverse audiences.
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive impact.
• Familiarity with qualitative methods (focus groups, interviews, cognitive testing).
• Commitment to responsible, ethical AI practices and staying current with AI tech.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and external survey vendors.
• Translate stakeholder requests into actionable research plans.
