Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to support remote clinical studies in compliance with SOPs and GCP. You will coordinate, collect and report patient data, recruit and virtually enroll eligible participants, and educate them about study requirements while maintaining data integrity.

You will monitor safety, manage informed consent virtually, assist with study equipment, and coordinate with MCRA clinical affairs staff to ensure smooth operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a life sciences or healthcare-related field).
• Experience: Minimum of three years as a Clinical Coordinator or in a comparable clinical research role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Manual of Procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Collaborate with the research team and study sites to recruit and virtually enroll eligible patients.
• Collect, maintain, and securely store all data per regulatory and organizational standards.
• Educate potential participants about trials and manage the informed consent process via virtual interactions.
• Assist with participant study compliance by providing guidance and reminders.
• Conduct follow-up activities for clinical trials while adhering to GCP guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety by monitoring participants and reporting adverse events promptly.
• Support the research participant call center as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with research participants.
• Assist with study equipment management and reporting, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
• Communicate updates to MCRA clinical affairs staff as needed.
