Job summary

Yale Cancer Center is seeking a seasoned Manager of Clinical Research Billing Compliance to lead and support day-to-day activities ensuring accurate, compliant billing for research-related services across Yale entities. The role oversees QA, training, and collaboration with PALM, YNHH revenue cycle, and study teams to promote safe, efficient billing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5 years of experience in research billing or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, state, and local regulations affecting research billing.
• Experience leading a billing compliance program within a large organization.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable process changes.
• Excellent collaboration with clinical and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor a compliant clinical research billing program across Yale entities.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and resolve billing issues.
• Lead training on billing compliance and QA with multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate with OnCore, CTMS, and EMR systems to ensure accurate patient billing.
