Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead Brand Designer to shape and steward the company’s visual identity across marketing, sales, web, and events. You will lead designers and freelancers, providing direction and building scalable design systems for a fast-moving business in the Transportation space.

The role requires 7+ years in brand design with leadership experience, deep expertise in typography and layout, and proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of brand or graphic design experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Expertise in building or evolving brand identities and scalable guidelines
• Exceptional typography, layout, color, and composition across formats
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Proven ability to coach designers and manage creative workflows
• Strong cross-functional communication to collaborate with teams

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the company’s visual identity across all platforms and materials
• Set creative direction for campaigns, website, events, and sales enablement
• Design high-impact digital and print assets from concept to production
• Lead and coach a team of designers and freelancers, providing constructive feedback
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and Sales to create compelling designs
• Build reusable templates and resources for consistent brand application
• Use performance data to inform design decisions and demonstrate impact on business outcomes
