Job summary

Stord is seeking a Lead Brand Designer to own and evolve its visual identity across website, marketing, events, and sales collateral. This hands-on player-coach role will set design direction, build scalable brand guidelines, and guide a small team of designers and freelancers.

You will collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Content, Sales, and Product Design to create high-impact work that supports pipeline growth and brand awareness in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of brand or graphic design experience, including 2+ years leading projects, designers, or creative direction.
• Brand systems expertise with scalable guidelines that teams actually use.
• Strong visual craft with typography, layout, color, and composition across digital, print, and presentation formats.
• Fluency in design tools: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; ability to create decks in Google Slides/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own the brand system and evolve visual identity across channels with clear guidelines and templates.
• Set creative direction for campaigns, launches, website, events, and sales enablement.
• Design high-impact assets across digital and print from concept to production.
• Lead and coach the design team, provide feedback, and manage priorities.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Design, and leadership to translate briefs into compelling creative.
• Scale brand consistency by building reusable templates and self-serve resources.
• Connect design to results by using performance data and testing to inform decisions.
• Manage external agencies and vendors and oversee creative budgets where applicable.
