Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience automating manufacturing processes.
• Willing to travel 50–75% across the USA.
• Residence in MI, OH, IL, IN, SC, NC, GA, TN, or Kentucky.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities within the North American region.
• Develop scopes of work for automation opportunities.
• Establish a reliable automation supply base and obtain proposals.
• Prepare financial justification for automation projects.
• Develop Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) for automation projects.
• Work with Finance and leadership to obtain CAR approval and manage capital/expense spending.
• Procure equipment and tooling per project plan and standards.
• Investigate and recommend new/alternate equipment and manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate best practice implementations across facilities.
• Provide troubleshooting support for automation including controls and robotics.
