Humana is seeking a Lead AI Automation Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership for building AI-enabled automation across the Data Governance domain. You will design, implement, and productionize automations using LLMs, workflow orchestration, APIs, and low-code platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years software engineering, automation, or platform engineering experience.
2+ years AI/ML or generative AI production experience.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and hands-on development of AI-enabled automations and agentic workflows.
Build reusable automation frameworks, services, connectors, prompts, tools, and patterns.
Integrate AI automation with metadata management, data quality, lineage, and governance.
Develop APIs and services for secure context retrieval and action execution.
Apply low-code where appropriate, ensuring security, testing, and lifecycle management.
Mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and drive adoption of engineering patterns.
