Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Actuary, Risk and Compliance to oversee actuarial risk management and ensure CMS bid compliance for Medicare Advantage and PDP programs. You will guide risk assessment, model interpretation, and collaboration with pricing actuaries to resolve issues.

The role may lead a direct report and involves travel for training or meetings as needed. You will advise executives on strategic risk matters and work with cross-functional teams to implement control improvements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ASA or FSA preferred; MAAA membership preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience leading actuarial and cross-functional teams on complex risk projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial risk and compliance activities and oversee staff.
• Assess and communicate actuarial risks and financial implications to executives.
• Drive CMS bid interpretation, controls, and compliance for Medicare bids (MA-PD & PDP).
• Participate in CMS audits and optimize bid filing processes.
