Job summary

ANAB, the ANSI National Accreditation Board, seeks a Manager of Accreditation to lead accreditation activities in the ILR unit. Based preferably in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this role requires hands-on testing/inspection background and a deep understanding of ISO/IEC 17020/17025.

Travel domestically and internationally will be required. You will manage programs, lead assessments, collaborate with labs, regulators, and industry experts, and help ensure the integrity and impartiality of ANAB's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical field (engineering preferred).
• 5–10 years of technical experience in inspection, mechanical testing, electrical testing.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17020/17025 and quality systems.
• Experience managing projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Assessment, auditing, or accreditation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accreditation programs and customer relationships.
• Plan and lead accreditation assessments of inspection bodies and/or testing laboratories.
• Serve as a technical resource throughout the accreditation process.
• Evaluate assessment results and documentation to support accreditation decisions.
• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and impartiality of ANAB's accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with laboratories, inspection bodies, regulators, assessors, and industry experts.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Participate in internal audits and external evaluations of ANAB.
