Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (Layer 2) to design and operate scaling solutions for Ethereum, improving throughput and reducing costs. You will help build rollup infrastructure and bridge protocols across network layers in a 100% remote role.

You should have 4+ years in Software Engineering with blockchain or Layer 2 experience, hands-on with Optimism/Arbitrum/zkSync, and strong English. Join a global team delivering cutting-edge tech from anywhere.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Blockchain or Layer 2 scaling.
Proven expertise in building or operating Layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum.
Hands-on experience with rollup infrastructure such as Optimism, Arbitrum, or zkSync.
Proficiency in developing and managing bridge protocols and L2-native applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust rollup infrastructure using technologies like Optimism, Arbitrum, or zkSync.
Develop and maintain secure bridge protocols for asset and data transfer across Ethereum layers.
Optimize L2-native applications to ensure high performance and low-latency execution.
Research and integrate emerging scaling techniques to improve network efficiency and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define standards for Layer 2 integration and ecosystem growth.
