Job summary
Texas Civil Rights Project in Texas is seeking a Summer 2027 Law Clerk or Extern for its Reproductive Justice project. Position will be remote in Texas, with travel as needed, and requires enrollment in law school. Stipend or academic credit may be available depending on funding.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in civil rights law.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to social justice and advancing civil rights for all individuals.
- Previous experience or coursework in civil rights, constitutional law, or related fields is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on civil rights issues.
- Assist with drafting legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents.
- Review and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives.
