Job summary

The Texas Civil Rights Project is seeking a Summer 2027 Law Clerk or extern focused on reproductive justice. The position is primarily remote within Texas, with travel and in-person activities as required, and offers academic credit or a stipend depending on funding.

Reporting to the Litigation Director, Zachary Dolling, you will conduct legal research, draft memoranda and briefs, review case law and statutes, and assist with community outreach and strategic advocacy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record with an interest in civil rights law.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on civil rights issues.
