Fehr Graham, a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm, seeks a Land Survey CAD Technician to support survey and civil engineering teams. You’ll prepare accurate survey drawings, maps and technical documents from field data, collaborating with professional surveyors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent training in surveying technology or civil engineering technology.
• 4+ years of survey CAD experience; strong CAD production skills.
• Proficiency in survey principles and field procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing conditions plans, base maps, ALTA surveys and plats.
• Create digital terrain models and breaklines from field data.
• Prepare survey deliverables for municipal, roadway, utility and development projects.
• Coordinate with civil engineering teams to ensure consistency of drawings.
• Review field notes and calculations for accuracy.
• Apply CAD standards and manage file organization.
• Research deeds, plats and public records.
• Ensure on-time delivery with quality-control checks.
