Job summary

Providence is seeking an Applications Engineer II for a fully remote role within the United States. The position focuses on design, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of moderately complex applications across the enterprise information services portfolio.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 4 years of industry experience and healthcare/regulated industry exposure. Master’s degree preferred; Epic portfolio may be required based on portfolio needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, CFA/CA, Human Capital Management, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications are portfolio dependent; where applicable, certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• 4 years of industry related experience.
• Healthcare, research, consulting, or regulated‑industry application experience.
• Experience supporting production services, including monitoring and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of moderately complex applications and services.
• Own specific application components, workflows, or integrations and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Builds and enhances relationships with internal/external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders in PSJHS.
• Actively support and incorporate the mission and core values into daily activities.
