Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking an Analyst-Business 3 - L&D to partner with organizational leaders and HR to evaluate enterprise training programs and define measurement strategies. You will translate data into insights and develop dashboards to illustrate program impact.

You will lead evaluation design, collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders, and produce actionable recommendations driving business priorities and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of combined experience in learning and development or training.
  • Experience developing evaluation methodologies (questionnaires, focus groups, observations, interviews).
  • Experience developing questionnaires with survey tools (Alchemer, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).
  • Experience using the Kirkpatrick model to evaluate training effectiveness.

Business Analyst - L&D

Location: Greater LA area, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Remote

  • Pay Rate: $16.00–$38.60 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

In this role, you will partner with Organizational Unit leaders, subject matter experts, and Human Resources to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of enterprise-wide training programs. You will develop program evaluation strategies and measurement plans, define performance expectations and evaluation methodologies, and establish data collection and analysis processes. Using data from multiple sources, you will assess program outcomes, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that support current and future business priorities. You will also translate complex evaluation and operational performance data into clear, compelling insights that demonstrate program effectiveness and business impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead measurement strategies that demonstrate learning program impact and alignment to business objectives.
  • Partner with leaders, program owners, SMEs, HR, and stakeholders to develop training evaluation strategies and success measures.
  • Define performance objectives, metrics, evaluation plans, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct job, task, stakeholder, and learning needs analyses to identify performance gaps and business needs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, learning outcomes, behavior change, and business results.
  • Design and maintain surveys, assessments, and other evaluation tools aligned to performance objectives and KPIs.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, and business metrics.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that highlight program performance, opportunities, and business impact.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, department leaders, and senior management.
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to analysts responsible for data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Establish and maintain evaluation standards, methodologies, and governance practices across learning programs.
Required Skills
  • Experience in training and development.
  • Experience developing and implementing evaluation methodologies (e.g., questionnaires, focus groups, observations, interviews).
  • Experience developing questionnaires with survey tools (e.g., Alchemer, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).
  • Experience using the Kirkpatrick model to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
  • Experience analyzing large amounts of complex data.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple duties/projects, take the lead, and follow through on all assignments.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to changing priorities, organize a heavy workload, take ownership, and follow through on all assignments.
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information and for achieving results.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and perform with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills with a proven record of building relationships and communicating complex information in a concise and straightforward manner.
  • Intermediate to proficient skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Graphs/Charts), PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in developing company-wide measurement strategies.
  • Experience creating dashboards using Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Learning (LMS).
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or other related discipline.
Required Experience
  • 5–7 years of combined experience in learning and development or training.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in an Analyst role.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Remote: Candidates must be willing to use their own device with VDI.
  • Must be based in the greater Los Angeles area (California) for onsite meetings as needed.
