Job summary

Defense Unicorns is seeking a Support Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. You will act as the primary technical contact for customers, collaborating with engineering and Customer Success to improve systems and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in technical support, DevOps, SRE, or related role.
• Solid Linux proficiency in log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience across managed and on-prem environments.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and networking/storage.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customer issues via ticketing, Slack, and email.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, Kubernetes, cloud infra, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose problems across hybrid cloud architectures for cloud and on‑prem clusters.
• Own escalated issues end-to-end with triage, reproduction, and post‑mortem docs.
• Reproduce issues in test environments and accelerate engineering investigations.
• Provide on‑call support and clear status updates to customers.
