Job summary

FluentU is seeking a native Korean content editor for a remote, long-term freelance role. You will create and curate Korean language learning content for FluentU’s online platform, working closely with a native English editor to ensure accurate, engaging material.

This position offers 15–20 hours per week, flexible hours, and an initial 90-day trial. You’ll annotate vocabulary, develop flashcards and courses, and use tools like Asana and Slack to coordinate with the distributed team.

Qualifications

• Native Korean speaker with strong command of Korean and English grammar.
• At least 1 year of experience in Korean education, translation, or related linguistic fields.
• Excellent editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote distributed team.
• Commitment to 15–20 hours per week on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a native English speaker to produce Korean text.
• Create Korean learning materials, including curating videos, annotating vocabulary, and developing flashcards and courses.
• Learn and adapt to project management platforms such as Asana and Slack.
• Work with editors to improve quality and meet deadlines.
• Complete assigned tasks within deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.
