Job summary

Avalon Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Knowledge Engineer to bridge business and AI systems. You will elicit data, rules, and workflows, translate them into semantic models and audits, and build dashboards to track agent performance.

You will collaborate with Snowflake engineers and support pilots, concepts, and production releases of AI-driven knowledge products, while maintaining clear documentation and processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience eliciting requirements with non-technical and clinical stakeholders.
• Strong, hands-on SQL skills to profile, query, audit, and validate data.
• Experience building reporting or dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and drive decisions to closure.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document data, rules, processes, and decision logic from business owners and clinical SMEs.
• Translate requirements into structured artifacts including glossaries, taxonomies, semantic models, and metadata definitions.
• Design audit logic and test sets to measure agent accuracy and relevance.
• Build reporting dashboards to visualize agent performance and audit findings.
• Collaborate with Snowflake engineers on data ingestion, structure, and access needs.
• Develop pilots and production releases of AI agents and knowledge-driven applications.
