Job summary

CADCA seeks an Upstream Kansas Program Coordinator (State of Kansas) to advance youth leadership and substance use prevention across Kansas. This remote role coordinates activities, trainings, and partnerships, engaging youth and adult advisors within coalitions to improve community health and safety.

The successful candidate will manage programs, support grant activities, and collaborate with state agencies and SMEs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; public health experience valued.
Three to five years of experience in public health initiatives or youth leadership programs.
Grant and relationship management experience is strongly desired.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Travel up to 30% annually within Kansas; approximately 5% national (domestic).

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support implementation of the Upstream Kansas Youth Leadership Prevention Program.
Support youth leadership development and coalition-based prevention efforts.
Assist in management of grants and cooperative agreements, including budgets and reports.
Coordinate training and technical assistance with state agencies, coalitions, and SMEs.
Support youth advisory groups and coordinate trainings, meetings, and events.
Contribute to additional CADCA US Programs initiatives as assigned.
