Job summary

CADCA seeks an Upstream Kansas Program Coordinator to advance youth leadership and prevention initiatives across Kansas. You will coordinate activities, trainings, and partnerships while engaging youth and adult advisors, managing grants, and reporting progress.

This role emphasizes collaboration with state agencies and coalition partners to strengthen community health and well-being. The position requires experience in public health initiatives and youth leadership, with travel within Kansas

Qualifications

• Experience with youth leadership initiatives and public health campaigns.
• Grant and relationship management experience is strongly desired.
• Knowledge of Kansas public health landscape and youth-serving systems preferable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support implementation of the Upstream Kansas Youth Leadership Prevention Program, including planning youth activities, meetings, and events.
• Support youth leadership development and participation in coalition-based community prevention efforts.
• Assist in management of grants and cooperative agreements, including supporting work plans, budgets, and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with state agencies, coalition partners, and SMEs to coordinate training and technical assistance for youth and adult partners.
• Support youth advisory groups and help coordinate trainings, meetings, and events that strengthen youth leadership and substance use prevention knowledge.
• Contribute to additional CADCA US Programs initiatives as assigned.
