Job summary

BookNook is seeking qualified tutors to support K-8 Math and Reading across the USA. This is a 1099-eligible independent contractor role with flexible, after-school sessions.

Most sessions are 30 minutes, many in the 5:00–7:00 PM ET window; you control your calendar, earn $20/hour, and may receive incentives. Work-from-home setup is required, with strong attendance to build schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience: Classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support.
• Tutoring focus: Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons to support students at or below grade level.
• Rapport: Build meaningful connections with students and provide encouraging feedback.
• Technology: Reliable internet (≥20 Mbps) and a suitable home setup for online tutoring.
• Reside in and tutor from allowed US states including CO and DC.
• Location: Sessions from within the 50 US states or Washington, DC.
