BookNook offers a fully remote tutoring opportunity for qualified educators to teach K-8 Math and Reading from a professional virtual classroom within the United States.

As a 1099-eligible independent contractor, you can claim individual sessions or recurring series. The role aligns with the school year (Sept–May), with most sessions typically 30 minutes and peak demand from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM ET.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring with online delivery is preferred.
• Deliver pre-designed math and reading lessons for K-8 students.
• Ability to engage and motivate students remotely and provide supportive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online from a US-based virtual classroom.
• Schedule and deliver sessions, following school-year timing (Sept–May).
• Attend and complete claimed sessions with reliability (80% attendance).
