Job summary

BookNook is seeking math tutors to deliver pre-designed lessons to K-8 students across the USA via our virtual classroom. Sessions are typically 30 minutes, with most availability during the 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET window.

You control your calendar and can claim or drop sessions as needed. As an independent contractor, you must reside in the United States and meet the stated requirements, with the school-year schedule spanning September to May.

Qualifications

• Experience: Classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL or tutoring background.
• Deliver pre-designed math lessons and practice materials online.
• Able to build supportive student connections and provide corrective feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons in a virtual classroom.
• Maintain student engagement and provide corrective guidance.
• Coordinate with BookNook on scheduling and attendance expectations.
