Summit Management Consulting, LLC seeks a Literacy Specialist/Coach for Uplift Michigan Online School to significantly impact literacy outcomes across K-6 by coaching teachers in evidence-based practices and leading improvement in reading skills, including phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

The position supports the Standards‑Based learning transition, designs and delivers professional development, and collaborates with general and special education teams in a virtual Michigan environment.

Competenze

• Deep knowledge of reading and writing processes and assessment
• Experience using assessments to inform instruction
• Familiar with Dyslexia screening/diagnostics and Michigan laws

Mansioni

• Provide individualized and group coaching to teachers on core literacy curriculum and evidence-based strategies
• Design and deliver professional development sessions for staff (at least 2x per year)
• Lead Dyslexia identification, screening, and accommodations per Michigan law
• Demonstrate effective literacy lessons and intervention techniques in classrooms
• Support teachers in analyzing classroom literacy data to inform instruction
