Job summary

State of Ohio DRC is seeking a Junior Tester 2 to support the Project Management Office. The tester will plan, create, execute, and document product and system tests, supporting release control processes, analyzing enterprise application data, and collaborating with technical teams.

This is a remote position with the State of Ohio DRC, contract through 06/30/2027, and a closing date of 10/14/2026. Strong testing and collaboration skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years creating test models, test plans, data and scripts.
• 3+ years analyzing data elements within enterprise apps and relationships.
• 3+ years analyzing functional and non-functional business requirements.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering methodologies.
• Experience with Git/version control tools.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile toolsets, including Git and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Create test models, test plans, test data, and test scripts for product testing and release control.
• Execute assembly and product tests.
• Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and entry/exit criteria.
• Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Analyze enterprise application data elements and their relationships.
• Assist with planning, creation, and control of test environments.
• Resolve testing process questions and issues.
• Update and test release installation procedures.
• Provide accurate status updates and meet assigned timelines.
• Determine work estimates and schedules.
• Maintain quality standards and complete assigned tasks.
• Work with team members and enhance testing, technical, and business knowledge.
• Stay current with relevant industry developments and testing processes.
