Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Junior System Administrator for a remote, full-time position. You will monitor health of products and infrastructure, analyze alerts with Grafana and Zabbix, and perform first-level troubleshooting on Linux and Windows servers.

You will join a distributed team across locations, support major incidents, and rotate shifts (8-hour blocks, including day/night). The role offers vacation days, wellness days, training bonuses, and health benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years in system administration or technical support
Proficient Linux command-line experience
Hands-on Zabbix and Grafana experience (user level)
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Willingness to rotate shifts: 8-hour shifts, day/night coverage
English at B1 level or higher

Responsibilities

Monitor health of products and infrastructure; handle alerts (150–250 per shift)
Analyze alerts using Grafana dashboards and Zabbix metrics; fix or escalate
Follow runbooks; perform first-level troubleshooting on Linux and Windows servers
Support and assist primary/senior duty admins; participate in major incident responses
Cover primary duty shift after onboarding with a distributed team
