Job summary

Avalon Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer I to support projects through the use of software development tools under limited supervision. You will analyze, design, develop, document and support various custom applications, portals, data exchanges, services and integration with other applications and systems to support the evolving needs of the company.

Jr. software Engineers will collaborate with other technical and business resources and follow Avalon change management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with SQL Query Language, preferably T-SQL.
• Experience with middleware architectures (SOA, REST, SOAP, WSDL).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in Agile software development environment.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design documents from business requirements.
• Develop and maintain complex data models and application code.
• Develop unit tests and packaging of tests with logical dependencies.
• Triage and resolve application and integration issues.
• Contribute to coding standards and reviews.
• Support 24x7 operations for software systems.
