Job summary

Hire With Jarvis - Lance Melendez is looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to transform the insurance and financial services industry. You will design and maintain automated test suites for APIs and web applications.

Responsibilities include collaborating with developers to ensure faster releases, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting issues. Ideal candidates will have 1–5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in software development, testing, or a combination of both.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and/or automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with xUnit and/or Jest.
• Experience in FinTech or insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders on quality assurance strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline for rapid feedback.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and verify fixes to ensure quality.
