Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Jr. Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams on the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Next (C1N) ACSS contract. You will help plan and execute sprints, facilitate ceremonies, track progress, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

You will work with Agile Coaches, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to cloud tech, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted development tools while supporting Cloud One capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's with less than 2 years experience.
• SAFe 6 Scrum Master certification.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies, security concepts, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of software development principles and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, processes, and tooling.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in executing Continuous Flow/Kanban or planned sprint activities.
• Facilitate team Agile ceremonies, including Refinements/Sprint Planning, Daily Boardwalks/Standups, Retrospectives, and Reviews/Demos.
• Track basic team metrics and delivery data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help identify and resolve team impediments and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Track and communicate team status, risks, dependencies, and sprint progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate development, documentation, configuration, testing, debugging, and delivery activities across the SDLC.
• Support SAFe 6 and Extreme Programming practices across the team.
• Assist with adoption and use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, and testing.
• Support DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to meet sprint commitments.
• Communicate with internal teams to maintain alignment on priorities.
• Participate in PI Planning events and track commitments.
