Job summary

Jilian Booth, LLC. is seeking a Jr. Project Engineer to join a power engineering consulting firm.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in PA or NJ, reporting to the President. The role supports senior engineers on client projects and focuses on project management and infrastructure analysis. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction project engineering, familiarity with infrastructure projects, AutoCAD/Visio, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with project management with infrastructure projects.
• Experience with electric utility power infrastructure and MV distribution design/construct.
• Engineer in Training or Professional Engineering License or on track toward licensure a plus.
• 2–5 years in construction industry in a project engineering/management role.
• Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, Visio experience; willing to leverage new tech.
• Datacenter construction experience a plus; strong client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project-related power infrastructure services including technical, regulatory, and financial analysis.
• Respond to client inquiries to exceed expectations.
• Analyze and present client reporting information.
• Coordinate with principal and senior engineers on internal and external resources.
• Lead project meetings, manage client schedules, documentation, and budgets.
• Provide markups/sketches in Visio, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam under guidance.
