GuruSchools LLP is seeking a Junior Power BI Developer to build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports. The role emphasizes data visualization, data modeling, and automated reporting across multiple data sources in a remote work setup.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, a keen interest in BI, and a willingness to learn Power BI features, DAX, and data integration techniques. Training and career support are provided, with remote collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IT/Data Analytics or related field.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, reporting, and BI concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Basic knowledge of Power Query and data transformation techniques.
• Understanding of data modeling, relationships, and visualization principles.
• Basic knowledge of DAX functions and calculated measures.
• Familiarity with SQL queries and relational databases is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Excel including formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn new tools and reporting methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and visualizations.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources like Excel, SQL databases, SharePoint, and other apps.
• Clean, transform, and prepare datasets using Power Query.
• Create data models, relationships, calculated columns, and measures for reporting.
• Write basic to intermediate DAX formulas to calculate KPIs and metrics.
• Design user-friendly dashboards with charts, graphs, tables, filters, slicers, and drill-through features.
• Publish and manage reports and dashboards in Power BI Service and manage workspace permissions.
