Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Statistics/Engineering/Commerce or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Power BI, data analytics, or reporting (internships and projects count).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Basic to good understanding of DAX and Power Query.
• Working knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical users.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Connect to data sources such as Excel, SQL databases, and cloud services.
• Clean and transform data using Power Query.
• Create data models, relationships, and DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and prepare data.
• Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces, refresh schedules, and access.
• Work with business teams to understand reporting needs and KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report performance.
• Fix bugs and update existing dashboards based on user feedback.
• Document reports, data sources, and metric definitions.
• Learn and follow BI best practices under the guidance of senior developers.
