Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Jr. Mobile and Front End Developer to join the Systems Administration team.

You will contribute to RESTful APIs, mobile apps, and front-end UI for internal tools, collaborating with a cross-functional team to improve veterinarians' workflows in the field. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in React Native/Expo, .NET 8, EF8, SQL Server, and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure), with a focus on clean, testable code and observability tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience building mobile apps using React Native and Expo (or similar).
• 1–3 years of experience supporting an enterprise-scale web application.
• 1–3 years of experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• 1–3 years of experience with React.js.
• 1–3 years of experience writing C# using .NET 8.
• 1–3 years with Entity Framework (EF8 or newer).
• 1–3 years with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 1–3 years of ASP.NET Core Web API.
• 1–3 years of testing with Xunit and Moq.
• 1–3 years of multi-cloud (AWS and Azure).
• Understanding of RESTful API development best practices.
• Knowledge of Figma or similar tool.
• Ability to create wireframes and mockups.
• Familiar with Claude Code for development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the architecture and development of API endpoints for Sunshine CRM platform.
• Assist with front-end development of internal tools and systems.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX designers to plan and create a mobile app for veterinarians.
• Collaborate with Sunshine development team on front-end tasks as needed.
• Create documentation and serve as escalation point for front-end or mobile issues.
• Review workload monitoring and identify improvement opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date on mobile app development for iOS and Android.
