Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Jr. Mobile and Front End developer to join the Systems Administration team within Innovation and Technology. You will contribute to RESTful APIs, mobile apps, and frontend UI for internal tools.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years with React Native, Expo, C#/.NET 8, EF, SQL Server, and ASP.NET Core Web API, in a multi-cloud AWS/Azure environment. Remote work with travel for onsite meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years building mobile apps with React Native and Expo (or similar).
• 1–3 years supporting an enterprise-scale web application.
• 1–3 years experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript and React.js.
• 1–3 years writing C# using .NET 8 and EF (EF8+).
• 1–3 years using Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• 1–3 years writing tests with Xunit and Moq.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and UI prototyping with Figma.

Responsibilities

• Develop API endpoints for Sunshine CRM platform and internal tools.
• Advance front-end development for internal tools and systems.
• Plan and build a mobile app for veterinarians to improve workflow.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers and Sunshine team.
• Create documentation and act as escalation point for front-end/mobile issues.
• Monitor workloads and identify improvement opportunities.
• Keep up with mobile development for iOS/Android.
