Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Junior Java Developer to support a mission-focused modernization effort for the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will work under senior developers to design, implement, and test Java services, RESTful APIs, and data migration utilities that enable secure data exchange across Salesforce, VA platforms, SharePoint Online, and more.

Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on Java software development experience.
- Strong Java fundamentals and OOP principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
- Basic SQL and data retrieval/manipulation.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
Responsibilities
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs with the team.
- Develop and maintain Java services and components following architecture and coding standards.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and service endpoints for enterprise data exchanges.
- Implement interfaces for Salesforce, SharePoint Online, and other enterprise services.
- Write unit tests and support integration testing, mocks, and test data.
