Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Junior Graphics Designer to join our creative team on a full-time contract.

The role supports branding, marketing, communications, and digital campaigns across multiple platforms, translating concepts into polished visual assets under guidance from senior designers. The ideal candidate will bring a foundation in visual communication, a strong portfolio, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field.
0-2 years of experience in graphic design or related creative field.
Strong portfolio across digital, print, branding, and marketing materials.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Experience designing for websites, social media, and email campaigns.
Attention to detail and consistency across projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate briefs into clear design concepts.
Strong time-management and ability to handle multiple projects.
Familiarity with Figma, Canva, After Effects, Premiere Pro is a plus.
Basic motion graphics, animation, or video editing knowledge is an advantage.
Willingness to learn new tools and practices in the design field.
Ability to work remotely and in hybrid team environments.

Responsibilities

Develop original graphic concepts for digital, print, and campaigns.
Create social graphics, presentations, brochures, newsletters, and branding materials.
Design and update assets for websites and email campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align objectives.
Translate briefs into clear, visually effective designs.
Apply brand guidelines across typography, color, imagery, and layouts.
Edit and optimize images and graphics for varied outputs.
Prepare production-ready files meeting technical specs.
Manage multiple design assignments with deadlines.
Participate in reviews and incorporate feedback.
Maintain organized libraries of assets and templates.
Research design trends and tools to support learning.
Assist with basic motion graphics and video editing when required.
Coordinate with printers and external partners for production.
Identify opportunities to improve templates and workflows.
Ensure designs meet accessibility and quality standards.
