Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer based in Boise, Idaho (remote within the United States). You will contribute to building scalable customer-facing applications and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience developing applications using modern programming languages and software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and application design principles.
• Experience working with source control systems, code reviews, and software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications supporting customer experience initiatives and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Support CI/CD activities, deployment processes, and production issue resolution while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
