Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and General Ledger activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile weekly and biweekly payroll transactions using Oracle systems and ADP Celergo.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate General Ledger postings.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts and accrued payroll accounts.
• Research discrepancies and prepare necessary journal entries.
• Support employee tax setup, withholding updates, and payroll tax compliance.
• Reconcile payroll invoices against daily funding and coordinate with ADP to resolve variances.
• Assist with payroll tax inquiries involving U.S. and international jurisdictions, including Canada, Brazil, Spain, and Portugal.
• Complete quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate with Payroll, IT, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and internal controls teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits.
